Hi, I’m Birgit.
(Pronounced like “Beer-git.”)
I am a designer and experience creator specializing in UX/UI, living in Orange County, California.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine in 2017, I found myself yearning for a more creative-focused career. I decided to take on a certificate program in UX design from the University of California, San Diego in early 2020, and taught myself the ins and outs of digital design throughout the course of the pandemic. Since completing the program in March of 2021, I have worked with over 50 brands and companies, designing websites, marketing collateral, tradeshow booths, merchandise, and more, all while ensuring consistency of each brand across all customer touch points (both digital and print).
Just a few facts about me:
I’m a born and raised Southern Californian and a second-generation Estonian American, with dual citizenship in both the U.S. and the E.U.
I have been dancing and performing since the age of 3. After graduating from UC Irvine in 2017, I was hired into the parades department at the Disneyland Resort and have performed in shows like Fantasmic!, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, Magic Happens, and A Christmas Fantasy Parade. To this day, you can find me performing at the resort most weekends.
When I’m not designing or dancing, you can find me hiking, trying a new vegetarian recipe, thrift shopping, or teaching my family’s dog, Louie, some new tricks.
